About Fixit
Fixit aims to revolutionize the way people access and interact with professional service providers. By providing a safe and reliable marketplace platform, Fixit empowers clients to find and hire the best professionals for their needs. Fixit also empowers partners to elevate their lives and instills them with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Our vision is to create a community where anyone, anywhere, can easily connect with verified service providers and efficiently and safely get the job done. This community is founded on trust and respect.
What is Fixit
Fixit is a marketplace platform that connects clients with professional service providers.
On Fixit, clients can find, interact with, and hire professional and verified service providers.
Fixit guarantees the safety of transactions between clients and partners. Clients must deposit the agreed-upon rate with the partner, and once the job is successfully completed, the money goes to the partner.
Both clients and partners on Fixit have full control over service rates, enabling them to negotiate.
To use Fixit, a client simply creates a job or messages a partner, creates a contract, deposits the agreed-upon amount, and waits for the partner to arrive to client’s place and complete the job.
What I did
Created user-journey of both user type; Client and Partner
Conducted user research with the team.
Created the wireframe (lo-fi) of the product in Miro.
Created the hi-fi version in Figma that works with the product.
User and Audience
1. Client : Individuals seeking for professionals to get their home work needs done. It can be various works, such as repairing television, refrigerator, radio, AC. They can also look for professionals to get body care treatments like massage, hair and nail care. They can use the feature by exploring in marketplace that contains a lot of professional service providers and directly contact them, or they can post their own job with specific needs and wait for the professionals to apply to their job.
1. Partner : Professional service providers are called "Partner" in this app. They can create their professional profile that contains Bio and Skills. Just like the marketplace concept, they can wait for the Clients to reach out to them in order to start the contract of a certain job, or they can browse jobs that have been posted by the Clients that are relevant with their skills, then they can propose their best offering (price and work-duration) to the Client's job.
My Role and Responsibility
This project is my own platform that I am currently building collaboratively with the team. My role in this project is a Product Designer and I am responsible for the User Interface (visual) and the User Experience of this product. This is how I illustrate my role of this project in the white box :

Main Features
There are 4 main menu that can be accessed by the Clients through this Navbar. The first one is Homepage, it contains a lot of features of the app, Location Management, Notification Centre, Main Menu, Search Field, Main Categories, Job Posting entry point, and The Nearest Partners. The second menu is Contract, this screen shows contracts that has been made by the Clients and selected Partners. Next is Job page, this screen shows Jobs that has been posted by the Clients with 3 selector (All, Active, Recruited). The last screen is Chat screen which shows all chats with the Partners.
This is one of the main core features. Clients are able to recruit professionals (Partners) by exploring the marketplace that contains a lot of professionals depends on their location. Then, Clients can directly contact Partners in order to discuss what they need, the price, and the estimated working duration. If both sides agree with the deals they made, Clients can deposit the amount of the agreed price. The money will be sent directly to Partners' account if they finish their jobs successfully. So, the transaction is completely secure.
Recruiting Partners can be done by using either Direct Contract or Job Posting. The Clients are also able to post their own job with their specific needs, like what they need, how long does it take, and how much budget does the client have. And, the payment process is basically the same with Direct Contract.
The payment process is pretty simple, when both sides agreed on the price and working duration, Clients can deposit their money in order to start the contract. Payment methods consist of three options, those are: QRIS, Virtual Account, and they can pay through Retail Outlets in cash. When the contract has ended, and both sides agreed to end contract, the money that the Client deposit before will go to Partners' balance.
